Every movement, every gesture in an animation is the work of a character animator. For individuals with creative flair and a passion for animation, the AAAT program is the perfect way to launch a career in professional animation production for film, TV, and video, and to prepare for advanced training leading to the production of a professional quality portfolio. Over the course of one-year training, the AAAT students train in the tools and techniques required for animation production work.
Students aspiring for the 6 month or 1 year course in Classical Animation are required to take a simple aptitude test, to help us guide them into the correct course at the AAAT. The Fundamentals of Animation (FA) course does not require the student to take a test.
